Online BBA Fees in India: 13 Universities Compared

Online BBA fees in India range from ₹57,000 to ₹1,99,000 for the full 3 years, across the 13 universities we compared. DDU Gorakhpur University is the lowest and Amity University is the highest. The good news is that seven of the 13 cost under ₹1 lakh, so a recognised online BBA does not have to be expensive.
Maybe you have just finished Class 12 and want to start earning. Maybe you are joining the family business. Or maybe you left college early and want to finish a degree while working. An online BBA can fit all three, but the fee you see on an advert rarely tells the whole story.
In this guide you will find the full online BBA course fees list, answers to the university-wise questions students ask most, what you will study, who should choose this course, and how to pick the right one without overpaying. All figures come from the university pages on our site.

Other options worth checking
CCS University costs ₹69,000 and lists 10+2 with 45% (40% for SC/ST). Sikkim Manipal University costs ₹90,000. Shoolini University costs ₹96,000, or ₹32,000 a year. VGU costs ₹1,32,000, or ₹44,000 a year, and Manipal University Jaipur costs ₹1,39,500.
LPU BBA fees: online vs campus
Many people search for LPU BBA fees, BBA fees in LPU, BBA LPU fees, or LPU BBA fees per semester. Be careful here, because these searches often mix up two different things.
The figure in our table, ₹1,22,400 or about ₹40,800 a year, is for the LPU Online BBA only. The on-campus BBA at Lovely Professional University is a separate programme with its own fees. If you are searching for LPU BBA fees with hostel, that is a campus question, because hostel costs do not apply to an online course. Before you compare any LPU university BBA fees, check that both figures are for the same mode.
What will you study in an online BBA?
A BBA gives you a broad foundation in how businesses work. Subjects vary by university, but most include the following. Ask for the semester-wise syllabus before you enrol.

Later semesters usually include electives and a project. Some universities let you specialise. If you are looking for a BBA in marketing management (often shortened to BBA MM), check whether your chosen university offers it online, because not all of them do.
How do online classes and exams work?
You study through the university’s learning platform, where you will find study material, assignments and recordings on a laptop or phone. LPU Online, for example, runs weekend live lectures plus recorded content, and fully online exams with 70% end-term and 30% continuous assessment. Other universities work differently, so ask each one.
A simple study plan for a working student might be one hour on weekday evenings and two hours at the weekend. It does not sound like much, but it adds up across a semester. The students who finish are usually the ones who plan their week, not the ones who wait for free time.
Who should choose an online BBA?
- Class 12 pass students who want to start working early and still earn a degree.
- Working young professionals who need a graduation degree for promotions or new roles.
- Future MBA aspirants who want a business foundation first.
- Family business learners who want to learn accounts, marketing and people management while staying in the business.
An online BBA may not suit you if you want a full campus life, or if you find it hard to study without a fixed daily routine. It is better to know that now than a year into the course.
Eligibility and documents
You usually need to have passed 10+2 in any stream. Marks rules differ by university. CCS University lists 45% (40% for SC/ST), while several others ask for a pass from a recognised board.
Documents usually include your 10th and 12th marksheets (or your 12th admit card if you are still appearing), a government photo ID such as Aadhaar or PAN, a passport-size photograph, and an ABC ID and DEB ID, which are created during admission.
How to choose an online BBA in five steps

- Check approval first. Our guide shows how to check UGC-DEB approval in about five minutes.
- Fix your budget. Decide the total you can spend, and whether you need EMI.
- Check eligibility. Confirm the marks rule for your board and stream.
- Compare subjects. Look at the semester-wise syllabus, not just the course name.
- Plan your payment. Compare the final total under each plan.
Common mistakes students make
- Comparing a semester fee with a full-course fee. Always compare totals.
- Forgetting extra charges. Ask about exam fees and any other charges outside the programme fee.
- Assuming online and campus fees match. They often do not.
- Believing a guarantee. No university can promise you a job.
- Enrolling at the last minute. Rushed decisions lead to missed documents and regrets.
Online BBA vs regular BBA: what really changes?
The biggest difference is how you spend your three years. A regular BBA asks you to be on campus most days, while an online BBA lets you study around work, family, or a business. Here is how to think about it:
- Time: online study gives you more control over your day, but you need the discipline to use it well.
- Cost: besides tuition, a campus course can add hostel, travel and food costs. Online study avoids most of these.
- Experience: campus life gives you daily contact with classmates and teachers. Online students have to build these connections on purpose, so join live sessions and student groups where you can.
- Earning: an online course lets you earn while you study, which can matter more than the fee itself.
Neither one is automatically better. The right choice depends on your situation. A student who needs income from day one will see this very differently from a student whose family can support three years on campus.
BBA or BCom: which one should you pick?
This is one of the most common questions after Class 12. A BBA leans towards management: marketing, people, strategy and running a business. A BCom leans towards commerce: accounts, tax and finance. If you enjoy working with people and ideas, a BBA may suit you. If you enjoy numbers and accounts, or want to go towards CA or similar paths, look at a BCom. Our online BCom page lists those options.
What can you do after an online BBA?
A BBA is a general business degree, so it opens several doors rather than one fixed job. Graduates commonly look at entry-level roles in sales, marketing, operations, customer success, HR and business development. Many go on to an MBA after gaining some work experience, and that combination can be powerful, because you enter the MBA knowing what you want from it.
If you are in a family business, the value is more direct. You can apply what you learn about accounts, customers and staff the same week you study it. Your actual path depends on your skills, your experience, and your effort. A degree opens the conversation, and your work does the rest.
What if your Class 12 marks are low?
Do not assume you are out. Several universities on this list ask for a pass in 10+2 rather than a high percentage, though a few set a minimum such as 40% or 45%. Check the exact rule on the university page, and speak to a counsellor if you are close to a cut-off or have a gap year.
Questions to ask before you pay
- Is this exact programme on the current UGC-DEB list?
- What is the total I will pay, including exams?
- Are live classes recorded if I miss them?
- How are exams held, and do I need to visit a centre?
- What happens if I need to take a break during the course?
- What career support is offered, and what is not promised?
Which online BBA is right for your budget?
- Under ₹75,000: DDU Gorakhpur, CCS University, and Parul University.
- ₹75,000 to ₹1 lakh: Galgotias, Sikkim Manipal, Shoolini, and GLA.
- ₹1 lakh to ₹1.5 lakh: LPU Online, VGU, Manipal University Jaipur, and DY Patil.
